You’ve added events to the menu on this website. Does that mean you’re planning more exhibition projects that in previous years ?
Maybe, but I think the new website gives us scope to add and modify content and let people know what’s going on in our world. We’ll run workshops for the devotees and we’ll be having more artists talks at the studio too.
We’re going to have a sale, the week before Christmas at the store. Before Christmas is when you need a sale not selling winter stock in spring.
And other stuff, I’m involved in Imprint in a small way giving a talk with Brook Andrew and Trent Walter about the making of Brook’s Gun Metal Grey project. I can’t remember when that’s on ( laughs ) but that’s the kind of event for this space on the website.
So no exhibition projects ?
Oh, there’ll be exhibitions of our own – Kate and I have Civic Twighlight End coming up soon, so that will be a great event.
But also exhibition projects we’ve been involved in. Danius Kesminas just opened at MUMA and we helped with the slave piano room. This is a show nobody should miss, actually best show I’ve seen in Melbourne for years.
We worked with Joseph Kosuth recreating the Not & Zero room, that was a great show… I’m writing all these things down. I’ll going to get the calendar set up tonight.
I reckon there would always be work made at spacecraft showing somewhere in the world at any given time. That would be a great events page. Could you do that ?
That’s one of your better ideas, I’m writing that down too.
