Any chance that the Rooster, False Prophet will make a comeback. I passed up the chance of getting one and have regretted it ever since. My brother swears he saw Wayne Carey wearing one, irony or comedy ?

Hi there Paul,
So good to get your reply to our Kelly story, it’s amazing how evoking his story is, in rumour and truth. Tom must have spent some time in Yackandanda, but before or after the skull theft I’m not sure.

Fascinating that the skull on display as ‘Ned’s’ was not the one that matched the skeleton tested, so how did they determine that it was unmistakably Ned’s body?

Considering we are artist not historians i’m hoping there is allowance to explore both the myths and truths of such a story.

Hi there
The Skull you mention as being handed in from WA was NOT Ned Kelly’s.
It was tested against the DNA sample that confirmed Ned bones unearthered recently, but the skull you mention didn’t match.

The Skull in question was stolen in 1978 by Tom Baxter (lived in WA) from old Melbourne gaol when he was a uni student studying in Melbourne.

I’ve seen the model in your store and actually met Stewart and he told he was going to do this. I thought you were joking, couldn’t believe when I saw it has happened in full scale, recognised straight away from the model. Well done spacecraft people. Invite to the first ring please ?
