Things have been gently shuffling to a fit at Spacecraft’s very new Collingwood studio.
The shift was a little epic, twelve years of Spacecraft in one location. And gave us a chance to observe our frugal collecting and committed storing of beauties, some wonderful, some not so wonderful.
But we’re nearing the end and it’s beautiful, and Collingwood, of course, is brimming with makers and perhaps more importantly stuff for makers that we have a new found gratitude for, truly the last bastion of manufactering near town and we feel at home and supported amongst it.
So, as I write, the John Wardle Architecture studio up stairs unloads some sharp swivle chairs and the builders drill their last.
Soon, soon we will be out of movers chaos and into design utopia.
