new backing cloth paintings

We moved the 7m printing table ahead of the rest of the studio. Used predominatly for sampling, it represents a varied and productive era of artwork, artists projects and design. We thought it should be saved for a studio archive, fragments of projects for Jon Campbell, Koorie Heratage Trust, Joost, John Creasey Library, Schiavello Climate project, Emily Floyd etc. fight for space alongside studio classics…

Our discovery of so many archival gems during the move enabled Stewart to make this backing cloth available. Here are some of the first paintings to emerge.

Loving the proximity of the new studio to the spacecraft store on Gertrude Street, great to be able to walk the artworks gentle up the hill from Rokeby Street.
